PRECIPITATED CALCIUM CARBONATE (PCC)

Precipitated Calcium Carbonate (PCC) is white crystal powdered substance, odorless. It is produced by chemical way, by precipitation. It consists of spherical crystals and needle-shaped argonite crystals.

Chemical formula - CaCO3.

Molecular weight - 100.9.

 

   

Application:

  • As filler in cosmetic, pharmacy, syntetic rubber.
  • In production of paints, plastic, food additions etc.
